Culturally Affirming and Effective Secondary Classroom Management

Brief Description:
In this series, participants will read three texts: Judicious Discipline, Discipline in the Secondary Classroom, and Integrating Differentiated Instruction and Understanding by Design. Each session will provide participants with a chance to discuss readings from the texts, to share successes in implementing the theory, and to help each other problem-solve specific challenges she/he is facing in her/his classroom. In addition, the presenter will be available for individual classroom observations and problem-solving consultations.
